reflections and some news

houston family photographer

I sit here writing this entry —-a post I’ve been meaning to write since last November.  Life hasn’t slowed down in the last several months until this minute.  A baby, senior photo sessions, sleepless nights, firing my daughter’s nanny who was part of our family (major tear!), a a new nanny who later ditched me, more sleepless nights,  learning my new life as a mom of two, still no sleep, juggling everything imaginable, Thanksgiving, cleaning bottles, Holiday  Magic minis, daily laundry, more senior sessions, the holiday season, my daughter’s naming, my sister’s baby shower that I had to miss two days ago because of strep and flu in my house—–and I have to say I-AM-POOPED!  I am finally able to sit, catch my breath, and write a few words.

Several of you have kept up with me, listened to me moan and groan, even allowed me to shed some tears, and I can’t thank you enough for your support.  My days start just after 6 and they end close to 11 with a feed in there somewhere post midnight—I feel like everyday is a marathon—always catching my breath.  But I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Playing catch up here….below are photos from my Holiday Magic Minis—some I’ve shared; some I have not.  I am hoping you will take a look at them and find the magic in each.  Last November marked Paperhearts’ two-year anniversary.  I’ve worked my tushie off learning and learning and practicing and learning—I started this biz knowing nothing.  Comparing images from two years ago and now, there is growth I never imagined I could achieve (Yes, I guess I sound like I’m tootin’ my horn, but I am a wee bit proud!!!).  In celebration, I am building a new site, a new look and I can’t wait to share it with you!  Be on the look out people!!!!  I will also be giving away a session to celebrate Paperhearts’ successes—-stay tuned!!! XOXO
